Moores Creek National Battlefield to Hold Christmas comes to Currie Event on Saturday, December 7

Currie, NC—On Saturday, December 7, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Moores Creek National Battlefield will hold a “Christmas Comes to Currie” event. Park staff, volunteers, and other living historians will offer a variety of programs and demonstrations focused on the celebration of Christmas in the 18th century. These colonial demonstrations include Christmas cooking, playing 18th-century toys and games, candle making, colonial music, and more!

In addition to the living history event, the park will host a special “Santa Comes to Currie” event! Bring your kids to meet Santa at Patriot’s Hall from 1 to 3 p.m.

The event will conclude with a special screening of the 2018 version of The Grinch inside Patriot’s Hall from 3 to 5 p.m.

Come on out and join us for this special Christmas celebration! The event is FREE and OPEN to the public.
