Art in the Hampstead Kiwanis Park

Mark your calendars for March 22, as Hampstead Kiwanis Park hosts the highly anticipated Art in the Park event, a celebration of local fine artists, music, and more. This exciting event is the result of a collaboration between the Greater Topsail Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism, ArtExposure, the Greater Topsail Arts Association, and Pender County Parks and Recreation.

In honor of Pender County’s 150th anniversary, the event will showcase a diverse range of fine art and performances from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. “We want to celebrate the arts in Pender County with an exhibition that highlights the incredible talent in our community,” says Tammy Proctor, director of the Greater Topsail Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism.

Shoreline Party Rentals proudly sponsors this inaugural Art in the Park, offering a platform for local artists to shine. Attendees can look forward to a special performance by Untitled Theatre Productions, featuring scenes from their upcoming musical, “Shrek,” at 2:30 p.m.

This family-friendly event promises a vibrant atmosphere with free admission and a variety of local food trucks. “Hampstead Kiwanis Park is an ideal venue, providing picnic shelters, playgrounds for children, and ample parking,” notes Zach White, Pender County Parks and Recreation director.

Artists interested in participating can apply by contacting ArtExposure at 910-803-0302 or visiting their website at www.artexposure50.com. ArtExposure is located at 22527 Hwy 17 in Hampstead.
