Topsail Chamber to host Christmas Market on Dec. 14 Chamber accepting vendor applications. TOPSAIL – The Greater Topsail Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism will host the Fourth Annual Flotilla and Christmas Market on Dec. 14 from 12 – 6 p.m. at Soundside Park, 517 Roland Ave. in Surf City. Applications for vendors are available now. “The Christmas Market has been extremely well attended over the last three years,” said Tammy Proctor, executive director of the Greater Topsail Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism. “Due to popular demand, we are pleased to launch an early vendor registration for the 2024 Christmas Market.” Vendors can register online at topsailchamber.org/events. “The vendor market fills quickly,” said Kay Phelps, the vendor coordinator. The Dec. 14 Christmas Market is just one activity in a fun-filled day at Soundside Park. The day will be filled with food truck vendors, a visit by the Claus Family, and music throughout the day. The day will be end with the fabulous Christmas Flotilla, sponsored by Sea Tow of Wrightsville Beach. “We urge vendors to register now,” said Proctor. “Space is limited.” Registration for Flotilla entries will be released in the fall. The Annual NC Blueberry Pancake Breakfast will be held on February 8th, 2025. This is an annual fundraiser for The NC Blueberry Festival Association Scholarship Program. Please join us for a beloved community event and fellowship with friends and neighbors, while enjoying delicious blueberry pancakes and sausage. The dine in event is held at the Burgaw Fire Station and take-out orders can be picked up at The Historic Burgaw Train Depot. Ticket presale will begin 8/15/2024 and are $10.00 each, children under 5 eat free and donations of any amount are accepted. If your business or group would like to purchase in bulk $160. for 20 tickets. This event is made possible by local students & community volunteers and sponsors. All proceeds benefit students and schools through scholarships and direct donations to the athletic and booster clubs of local schools.
