Amid a myriad of Baptist and Methodist churches in Pender County, one church stands alone. Its architecture immediately sets it apart: a gold dome, Byzantine-style architecture, and the traditional Orthodox triple-barred cross. The church is Sts. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Green Catholic Church. Located just 8 miles south of Burgaw in the Village of St. Helena, the church is a beautiful reminder of Pender County...

Thousands of people - both visitors and locals - gathered at the Beach Access in Surf City for the annual Dolphin Dip.
