Herbal medicine is the people's medicine. 🌾 Working with plants and medicinal herbs makes it impossible to ignore our interconnectedness with the web of life. When studying herbalism you can expect to experience a deeper understanding of the plants that support our very existence, deeper your connection to nature and take an active role in earth stewardship. You can also be a positive agent for change in your community's health (and your own self care) by learning how to interact with food as wellness and learning simple kitchen practices that can support healthy living. Herbalism is activism as way of life. We have all come (and are coming) to herbalism from different places and different perspectives, but regardless of what initially drew us to working with plants, we are all connected by our connection to all living things. By empowering our community to take responsibility for their individual roles in the greater system, we work to create an environment that is regenerative, rather than extractive – and we build a world where all can thrive.
