The North Carolina Blueberry Festival is a great source of local pride, with the entire community involved in promoting Burgaw to the world in its finest shade of blue. On Friday be the first to purchase fresh blueberries from local farms and eat a fresh BBQ sandwich made by our BBQ Cook-Off contestants starting at 11 am until supplies last. Fill the rest of your day by shopping downtown Burgaw for special Blueberry décor, gifts, and food all created and sold by our hometown merchants. Cap off your first night in Blueberry Town by enjoying live music and the beer and wine tent.

Saturday get up bright and early and join the crowd for a 7 am 5K/1 Mile Fun Run/Walk or the 8 am Tour De Blueberry Bike Ride. The festival grounds open at 9 am with tons of vendors selling food, homemade décor, jewelry, gifts, leatherwork, woodwork, candles, soaps and so much more! There will also be a kid's area with rides, games, and entertainment. The main stage will have live music all day from local groups and bands including Eastern NC favorites.
